I use Google Maps API to obtain direct mileage for better rates and alternate routes for drivers. Business problems I encounter are related to truck routes VS. auto routes. My drivers will often search and take alternate routes to avoid tolls and other high traffic areas they may encounter. I do not solely rely on Google Maps but rather use it as an alternate map to obtain more information along their route.

We use it via developing the code when we are building it from a scratch. It is one of the easiest ways to implement google maps as it contains API keys which is quite convenient as compared to others. Also fetching the API is quite easy in the code we used for displaying locations.

It is an easy application and it is difficult to find any problems or observations for it as it is a giant company that is always developing on its own.

A good and very smooth way of identifying places and streets, so I find it easy to explain any place I send a representative to.

We have our presence on google maps so it will make it easy for the students and parents to find us on maps and reach us easily.
Further when I travel to other cities and states for company work it helps me to find hotels, restaurants and the place where I want to go.

Street view is available for UK and US but not for India I hope they will do it soon
Updates for android devices is more frequent in comparison to IOS devices
