Our e-commerce website was performing pretty well however as
per the trend we wanted to have a mobile application to bring in more
customers. At first, we thought to outsource it however after careful
consideration we hired the developers in-house and developed an app in three
months. Now the challenge was to make sure that our app works
perfectly when installed on any device. This routed us to look for cloud-based
platforms and after some research, we finalized the HeadSpin platform.
Using the platform was fairly simple our tester and
developer both were able to upload the app and test it on any device they
wanted, not even that cherry on the cake was that we were able to test the
payment functionalities, language changes, and even after login features. We benchmarked our app's performance and keep on improving it
till we achieved the quality we wanted.

With HeadSpin our goal was to test the real-world experience our app would offer to the users. We wanted to test if our app is downloaded in other parts of the world would it be able to do the following? A - Would the language localization kick in or not. B - Would the currency localization kick or not? With HeadSpin we were able to test localization just by selecting our target countries. The overall process was really smooth and we were able to automate the entire process using our appium scripts.

We are using automation on the cloud using HeadSpin. It gives all options of running a different type of iOS and android test in the cloud. Also, a web test could be run in HeadSpin. I was one of the lucky people to get the HeadSpin university program to get learning about Appium, XCUItest, and other automation-related stuff too.

Best solution for Web Apps Testing
We are using HeadSpin for web application testing for a content management system. It helps us to analyze the design vulnerabilities in the application developed. It has helped us to measure the performance of our application in real-time networks across different devices. It provides an option to run multiple parallel tests which in return saves time.

Little expensive but does the job well!
We use it mainly for infrastructure monitoring activities and log testing. We have a number of applications that need to be tested on different platforms including mobile platforms such as iOS and Android. HeadSpin helps us automate the testing process which is almost impossible to do manually. As of now, my department uses it. Automated testing is the business problem that is being addressed.
