We extract data from various sources and load into a single SQL warehouse. We extract sources from Facebook, AdWords, Bing and various others. We load roughly 70GB a month and Hevo keeps our data live (or not) depending on our use case. It addresses our ETL issue by simplifying and housing everything in a single tool instead of us writing script/api's and then scheduling ,which is of course the cheaper option but maintenance overhead is not fun.
Pros
Extract
Load
Transform
Support
Cons
Transformation
More Sources
More Destinations
Likelihood to Recommend
It is extremely well suited to simple ETL processes. If you have some high complexity transform process, I don't recommend the use case. It is quite difficult to perform those and the documentation is quite light. I mean you can do python transforms if you want, but I'd rather just handle that myself for a bunch of loads vs for each ETL source to destination load.
Hevo Data is a ETL tool which helps us in flattening of nested data. Our database is MongoDB which is a semi-structured database. So Hevo Data help us to create data pipelines or data models which is a processed table. Hevo Data can be connected to multiple sources such as Redshift, Prosgresql, google sheets etc. Hevo Data really help us to create automated pipelines which updates on near real-time.
Pros
Building of automated pipelines
Models updates on near real-time
Flattening of nested data
Hevo Data detects anomaly and notified us about the issue
Scaling of data is very easy
Cons
If we are getting data from other sheets then sheet which is connected to Hevo Data doesn't updates in real-time.
Hevo Data change time in it's workbench on its own. For e.g. If our database timestamp is in UTC format then Hevo Data will automatically change the time to IST but if I run the same code outside the Hevo Data workbench then time is still in UTC. This creates lots of confusion while working on Hevo Data.

It is of great help for unstructured data sources. The way Hevo Data flattens the high nested data is amazing. Schema management is also good by Hevo Data. The way it's tell about the data type and then we can identify any error in the model. Additionally, It is very easy to setup for any new user and once model is created then we do not have to worry about the script maintenance and updating the script daily.
We use Hevo mainly to move Salesforce data to/from Salesforce
Pros
5 Minute Sync with Salesforce
Transformations
Auto Schema Mapping
Push to Salesforce
Cons
Support - their support teams try to be helpful, but often miss the mark
Error logging - we've run into a few issues debugging errors and limited support is provided by Hevo

Hevo is a fantastic solution for the cost. We switched from Fivetran to Hevo at 1/5th the price of what we were paying Fivetran and actually received a better product in the process. Fivetran was asking us to pay additional for 15-minute Salesforce syncs and Hevo offered 5-minute sync by default!
