ADVANTAGE is our financial accounting system as well as how we handle media buys for our clients.
ADVANTAGE is powerful in that these two systems are integrated as one solution.
Pros
Media billing
Estimates
Invoicing.
Cons
The UI reminds me of windows 98
The experience is not ADA compliant
There feels like there are unnecessarily extra steps to get simple task done
Likelihood to Recommend
In my opinion, UI is outdated, extra work to get simple test done and appears that they’re not investing in the platform.
I’ve not seen ADVANTAGE invest in the platform, even since the acquisition.
The integration of financial accounting with media billing and invoicing, makes it a unique product, but the cons are outweighing the positives for me.
We use advantage for time logging, billing, and creating job numbers.
Pros
Media billing
PO Organization
Time Details on Billing
Cons
Timing out
Job structure - could use more layers than just change orders and briefs

My agency uses Advantage mainly for the billing connection with media. Because we have it, we use it also for generating job codes, POs, and time logging. We do not use it as a project management system - I have at other companies and it was not ideal compared to what I am using now.
Our techs use this program on site to build estimates for our customers. We are able to use it in the office as well. It has made quoting projects simple & fast.
Pros
Information from site visits is easily accessible.
Workflow is easy to use
Cons
Tech support
Likelihood to Recommend
This program has eliminated so many "estimate not givens" on site. It has streamlined the process for our techs in order to help us provide our customers with estimates as quickly as possible for repairs.
Our company uses Advantage for everything including timekeeping and reporting, project management, project trafficking, billing and all sorts of other back-office functions. It's the central nervous system that helps our company operate smoothly and efficiently. My experience, however, is limited to timekeeping and reporting and project management. I do work closely with other parts of the company that use it for the variety of other functions listed above.
Pros
Timekeeping. While there are many other products that do this well in a vacuum, the way it integrates with the other functions is outstanding.
Project management. Opening new jobs, filling out creative briefs and trafficking projects is fairly easy and the options are robust.
Reporting. In particular, running time reports is a simple process that's both intuitive and effective.
Cons
Advantage is hugely cumbersome. There are hundreds of functions I will never use, and that I'm not sure anyone else in the organization uses.
The user interface could be better. Every time there's an update, there's a small but definitive learning curve.
Likelihood to Recommend
Any integrated agency (more than just a single-discipline agency) that's looking for a one-stop shop to manage all aspects of running the business would do well to consider Advantage as the single-source tool to do it all. Single-discipline agencies could probably find a less robust tool that's equally as effective for tracking and reporting.
