Storage these days is quite cheap and I would like to see a different pricing plan such as $50-$75/month for SSD & failsafe and $5/GB for additional storage.

If my application had stored more data, the ROI would be very diminishing based on the cost per GB pricing structure. … Amazon RDS costs run on a server resource structure and many times lead to a better cost/ROI/.

It's enabled us to scale without an expensive DBA, but at the cost of $10k/mo Compose bills and a fair chunk of time learning how to diagnose performance issues along the way. … Startups will benefit from their reasonable pricing at smaller sizes with high availability, however if anything goes astray they are on their own to solution the problem.

Decreased the cost on both, sandbox and production Pay as you go, along with price decrease in tier elevation comes very much as a bonus to the technical requirements from the business perspective.

Better cost reports, before just increasing to another tier, thus increasing the price. … Negative impact: we had to use a more expensive cloud provider (AWS), because Compose wasn't present in Digital Ocean (cheaper and transparent).
