A software packed full of all your needs but be ready to adjust and take some time to acclimate

Rating: 6 out of 10

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I use Infinite Campus to input grades, daily attendance of students, contact logs, and to print report cards. I also use this software to access parent contact information as well as other important information about individual student behavior, custody arrangements, medical information that is necessary for me to know, etc..Infinite Campus is a hub that allows the business I work for to have all student data, both academic as well as personal, in one specific location.

Pros

  • Has all components necessary when addressing the particular areas of content needed for school staff.
  • Has a basic structure to it where it is somewhat easy to use and operate within.
  • Infinite Campus has a wide range of possible places to locate student and data information, allowing it to be the main source of use for a teacher like myself.

Cons

  • Infinite Campus has a non-intuitive software, which could be more simplistic and user friendly.
  • Infinite Campus has a non-inviting/an unwarm color scheme/font display/theme/background
  • This software could make it more easy to identify the categories in which specific webpages are available.

Likelihood to Recommend

Infinite Campus is very easy to use when it comes to looking up personal student information as well as taking attendance. However, it is less suited for making it easy for users to find specific language testing data, ensuring the viewer feels confident in finding the correct webpage based on what they are looking for as well as being properly set up for the viewer to feel confident in arranging a progress report easily as well as quickly. Lastly, Infinite Campus could better enable the user to copy progress reports in bulk versus the current set up of having to go into each student's progress report individually to print.

Great educational tool

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Infinite Campus to house educacional information such as personal information, rosters, attendance and grades. On the other hand, I must higlight that a great scope is to use it not only for the employees and institution members, but also for the parents and families of the student community.

Pros

  • Save information
  • Share information
  • Upload tests and grades

Cons

  • Direct messaging system documentation
  • Allow bulk assigment
  • Better design

Likelihood to Recommend

I think that Infinite Campus can be used in any educational institution, because it’s a great tool for teachers, students and employees, mostly because it is usefull to follow the progress of each person. Neverthless, with a good adaptation it can be great for other institutions as companies or even organizations.

Help to manage and track students

Rating: 10 out of 10

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I have been using this tool for about 14 months only but I can say that I'm pretty satisfied with the results. I can say that I would recommend this product to schools and other educational institutions that need some kind of management system for their student information or data.

Pros

  • It provides all tracking.
  • All information is at one place.

Cons

  • Login difficult.
  • Allow bulk assignment.
  • Sometimes, a feature will be available for free and then later free removed and charged as an add-on.

Likelihood to Recommend

I was looking for a tool that could help us manage our student data, communicate with parents and teachers, and share information between our school and district. Unifyed's SIS is exactly what I was looking for. This is a very comprehensive system and has so many features to help our team communicate and manage data. If you are looking for a solution to help your school manage student data and information I would definitely recommend Unifyed's SIS.

Infinite Possibilities with Infinite Campus.

Rating: 9 out of 10

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

My district utilizes Infinite campus as an online grade book, attendance, and student data information system within each school. The platform is very user-friendly for the teachers. It has so many options of ways to view data including color coding and excellent report options. I, as a teacher, use it daily and enjoy it much better than I have had information systems in the past.

Pros

  • Reports
  • Data Information Bank.
  • Online gradebook.

Cons

  • Direct messaging system documentation.
  • More teacher level report options.

Likelihood to Recommend

As a classroom teacher, I love not having to rely on just a handwritten grade book anymore. When I input grades, I can print the updated grade book whenever I choose. This keeps my workload down since I don't have to write it in the grade book and then put it on the computer.

Inspiring All With Infinite Possibilities - That's Infinite Campus

Rating: 10 out of 10

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Infinite Campus is used to house all student information as well as documents that contain data for students' achievement and [individualized] educational plans. It is also used for running specific reports for looking at student information or [the] history of data on students. In addition, there is the convenience of using the grade book and tracking progress monitoring of students. Sometimes the reports are hard to run or data needs to be moved to different areas.

Pros

  • Houses student data for easy look up
  • Helps with rosters/attendance
  • Information is stored in one place
  • Provides detailed reports for specific schools or the whole district

Cons

  • Running reports with less steps
  • Easier data entry
  • Making student data easier to find

Likelihood to Recommend

Infinite Campus is a useful tool for looking up student data and also recording attendance. It is also beneficial to have for running reports for specific groups of students on educational plans. Further, you can create seating charts, send messages out to families when needed, and house grades and progress monitoring data all in one spot. In my position as an interventionist, I haven't used the progress monitoring tool as much because we use a different software program.

An organized way to collect and share important info and legal information

Rating: 8 out of 10
Incentivized

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

The district and teachers use [Infinite Campus] in order to communicate information to parents. Parents can look up their child's attendance records, emergency contact information (among other personal information), receive important notifications, and even do online payments for school. There is a great amount of information available on Infinite Campus, so it is a good way to organize all of that important (and legal) information for parents and families. It also makes it easier whenever people need to register a child or update personal information since it is all in the same place.

Pros

  • It is very clean (not cluttered with information and buttons)
  • It keeps all personal information in one spot
  • The message center is helpful, and it is easy to see when there is a new message
  • The breakdown of attendance is done very well

Cons

  • Signing up was difficult
  • Logging in took time to figure out in the beginning
  • I wish it had more information like test results or grades
  • It's not visually appealing (very plain and boring)

Likelihood to Recommend

If parents need to sign up a child for school, this is helpful since it organizes so much of the information needed. Whenever a parent needs to update contact information (or other important information), this provides a unified place to take care of that (which is extremely important for the district). It is also the best service I have seen in fifteen years of teaching when it comes to showing parents the attendance history of their child. However, it is not effective at getting out announcements from the district that need to be received immediately, which is why we don't even try using it for that.

Infinite Campus is for YOU!

Rating: 8 out of 10
Incentivized

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Infinite Campus is used across our entire organization. It is used by students, parents, teachers, principals, assistant principals, nurses, counselors and district office staff and others. We also use Infinite Campus to perform state required reporting for ADM payment calculations as well as for all other state/federal mandated reporting.

Pros

  • Parent and Student Portal.
  • Customization.
  • Integration with other products.

Cons

  • State Reporting (although largely related to state requirements).
  • Use of "white space" in some areas.

Likelihood to Recommend

Infinite Campus support is outstanding. Each district is assigned a Client Executive who is the contact point for anything business related. While they have a very responsive support department as well, the Client Executive also can be contacted if the support department just isn't getting things done or for any other reason. Infinite Campus offers PLENTY of training in short videos, written instructions and hands-on.

Infinite Campus provides lots of tools to staff

Rating: 4 out of 10
Incentivized

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Infinite Campus is used for a lot of things. It's our school data management system which tracks students' personal information. It's also used for our school attendance and provides flexibility for our record keeper as she's able to check who has and who has not taken attendance on a given day. We also use it as our grade book and messaging system.

Pros

  • Stores data.
  • Allows communication.

Cons

  • Make the grade book easier to use.
  • Allow for bulk assignment creation.

Likelihood to Recommend

Infinite Campus is useful for managing large scale amounts of data. Our school has over a thousand kids and that's a lot of information to keep track of. It also manages our gradebooks and our report cards. As far as I know it doesn't have an ability to let teachers set their own grading scales and that would be nice to have.

Infinite Campus for all!

Rating: 10 out of 10
Incentivized

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Our entire school district uses Infinite Campus to manage student contact information, grades, and attendance.

Pros

  • Has flexibility for user needs
  • Is very reliable

Cons

  • Would love to be able to personalize my home screen for each time I log in
  • Would love for it to be more intuitive when in assignment mode based on what class Section I’m in.

Likelihood to Recommend

Infinite Campus is a great one-stop place for all of the student information I need as a teacher on a daily basis. I always have it open on my computer to look up information, take attendance, and enter assignment information and grades. I love that my district can manipulate the way we use Infinite Campus based on our needs and that within our own building, it looks different for different teachers depending on our grading systems. And despite this, it still comes together nicely for parents to view information on their end.

Effective stand alone student information system but lacks extensive suite of integration tools

Rating: 6 out of 10
Incentivized

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Infinite Campus is used across our entire district, from administration, faculty, and staff to students and parents. This application serves multiple purposes, some being an attendance and health record tracking system, a grade tracking system for faculty which also correlates to the communication system between faculty and students regarding grades as well as to parents. Lastly, we use this as a more enterprise method of email communication to parents for high level messaging.

Pros

  • Infinite Campus sends out notifications timely without the delay that other systems sometimes encounter. This is important for students and when the end of semester deadlines loom.
  • Infinite Campus is user-friendly from both the administrative side to the end-user side. It's intuitive and well documented.

Cons

  • Infinite Campus does not integrate seamlessly with our learning management system. This is a big deal in that using Infinite Campus means our faculty and staff are asked to do more (fatigue) and there is more room for error to occur.
  • Infinite Campus' platform is not visually appealing nor does the site design use enough colors and distinction to clearly convey progress to a user.

Likelihood to Recommend

Infinite Campus is appropriate for smaller institutions where seamless integration with its learning management system is not critical. Since there is an element of manual work required in order to reflect accurate grading information for courses that use their learning management system to grade with, it is imperative to have personnel specifically charged with the task of ensuring data integrity. If there are not resources at an institution to make possible dedicated personnel for managing Infinite Campus, and instead an institution must rely on faculty and staff to manage their own use of the application, Infinite Campus is not an ideal program.
