An incredible product for expanding your organization and team efficiency at work

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Jellyfish has helped us save several hours of work each month for leaders. It incorporates detailed metrics that give us an idea about how the Scrums can be improved and boost team performance. It gives us a holistic picture of data collected from various systems regardless of the tech stack teams use. It is way better than other vendor products available in terms of customization it offers for organizing things when necessary.

Pros

  • Jellyfish can collect data from various development teams and provide analysis without intervention.
  • It is lightweight, easy to configure, and provides accurate, intelligent predictions.
  • The jellyfish team is wonderful, knowledgeable, and practical in resolving our queries.

Cons

  • It does not provide features to check metrics in shorter duration periods.
  • It can be better if it has an integration with Jira.
  • Folks need to do some work in terms of configuration for using Jellyfish at best.

Return on Investment

  • It is an excellent time to work with Jellyfish. It has helped us grow our team efficiency at work.
  • The documentation is great to start working with the product.
  • We are encouraged to expand our work with Jellyfish and use it to the fullest.

Powerful tool that allows your business to be strategic with big-picture business goals.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Jellyfish is a platform that helps the company I work for gain full visibility across all types of work. What we loved the most was the variety of insights Jellyfish provided, which helped to increase communication and visibility between managers and their teams... ultimately, this drove critical alignment. The fact that Jellyfish can integrate with other tools that we use consistently across the board made the decision to implement Jellyfish easy. Overall, this is a great product for a better understanding of how engineering and product come together. Jellyfish looks more holistically at what engineering is working on and how it ties back to the overall roadmap and big-picture goals.

Pros

  • Helps understand where time is being spend across our organization.
  • Integrate-able with other platforms/software we use daily.
  • Provides a variety of insights and metrics necessary to perform work.
  • Great customer service!

Cons

  • UI and navigation aren't very intuitive and require additional research before being able to use.
  • The individual developer metrics are not very useful and make the interface feel cluttered.
  • Overall, it takes time for the end-user to truly learn how to use the platform and navigate. There is so much information/data available that although the above is a con, we felt it still made sense, despite the learning curve.

Return on Investment

  • Easy setup and takes time to learn, but overall easy to use one you get the hang of it.
  • Strategic roadmapping.
  • Return on Investment increased.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Jellyfish as an additional tool to help us define and refine our engineering squad metrics. It is very useful because it integrates with other tools like for example, JIRA and GitHub. This makes our metrics have a more ample spectrum of metrics coverage in one place.

Pros

  • Integration with JIRA.
  • Integration with GitHub.
  • Friendly UI.
  • Easy to read.

Cons

  • Sometimes understanding the metrics is not simple.
  • Sometimes there are no clear explanations no how calculations ran.
  • Keep improving the UI.

Return on Investment

  • It is easy to identify waste within our processes.
  • It is not cheap but not super expensive.
  • Great way to see engineering overall results and measure.
