Use Cases and Deployment Scope
We use Jira Align to keep track of projects as a CRM team. Individuals will use a set template to write a business task which then will be added to the kanban board. The board is split into different countries so we can easily see what is happening where. We also divide the board by area, eg. Winback/retention upsell.
Pros
- Organises team projects
- Helps split up different project phases.
- Keeps all project info in one place.
- Integrates well with other software.
Cons
- Annoying sometimes when tickets disappear.
- Sometimes hard to search for old tickets.
- Files sometimes do not pull through properly.
Likelihood to Recommend
Well suited to teams who need to easily see what projects are being delivered when. Some of my older colleagues have found it more difficult to use as they have found it not so straight forward and intuitive. I think overall though this is a good tool and great for managing workloads and testing.
