Kleos

Kleos is a global teams management platform for companies that hire across borders. Kleos becomes the legal entity that contracts and pays a distributed workforce, so companies can build international teams without opening local entities, engaging local lawyers, or reconciling payments by hand.

Kleos supports two hiring models. Contractor of Record (CoR) engages independent contractors in 242 countries: Kleos issues compliant agreements and handles classification, invoicing, and payouts. Employer of Record (EoR) makes Kleos the legal employer of full-time staff, handling local employment, taxes, and benefits. Both models run on one platform, under one contract chain, with one consolidated B2B invoice.

Every hire on Kleos receives a compliant agreement, built-in IP assignment, KYC verification, audit-ready documentation, and on-time payouts in local currency. An AI payout assistant creates payout records from plain text, a pasted table, or an uploaded file.

Contractor of Record is priced at a flat €50 per contractor, with zero fees charged to the contractor. Employer of Record is priced per country. Kleos is ISO/IEC 27001 certified and GDPR compliant, and every account is backed by human support rather than a chatbot.

Kleos is built for distributed teams in tech, SaaS, EdTech, agencies, gaming, and Web3, typically with 10 or more contractors or employees outside their home country. It is used by founders, finance leaders, and HR or people ops teams.
