Lasso is a simple and easy-to-use CRM, above and beyond the daily tasks that the sales team or sales assistant complete, it allows our accounting department to generate reports and prepare invoices accordingly for commissions generated based on sales of condos.
There are a lot of CRM systems out there, but we needed a solution that was tailored to homebuilding, and that's when we discovered Lasso. Lasso is exclusively used by our sales and marketing team to capture, nurture, and convert both in person and eleads. Even moreso, Lasso allows us to organize our sales team and leads by neighborhood, which is phenomenally important given how many neighborhoods we have been building in across the years.
Pros
Easy capture of eleads from multiple sources. Lasso automatically captures potential buyers who submit for more information across multiple sources, including on social media, BDX, our website, and others.
Lasso helps keep everything organized, from dividing the sales efforts of multiple sales people across multiple neighborhoods, to allowing us to track which floorplans and lots our potential buyers are interested in.
Setting up a robust prospect nurturing plan is easy, allowing our sales team to effortlessly follow pre-determined templates for follow up.
Cons
Lasso is sometimes difficult to navigate for admins. As different options and permissions are divided between multiple access levels (sales, management, admin), and from there, options are often buried under other options, it's difficult at times to figure out how to make adjustments to things within the platform.
The email marketing system is lacking. There aren't as many design and customization options for building out graphic-rich emails as there are with a dedicated email marketing system.
Likelihood to Recommend
Lasso is well-suited for managing the sales efforts and client nurturing processes of homebuilders. Because it is a system build for homebuilders, it wouldn't be appropriate as a CRM system for organizations outside of that. Additionally, if a homebuilder is looking for a system with a robust email marketing component, this may not be the best option.
