LinkShortener.io

LinkShortener.io is a URL shortener and QR code generator from Email Marketing Tools Ltd, a UK company with its servers in London. It is used by marketers, small businesses, agencies and larger organisations that want short links and QR codes they can track.

Key features

- Short links on the shared tli.sh domain, or on a customer's own branded domain connected with one CNAME record (the TLS certificate is issued automatically).

- A QR code for every link, downloadable as PNG or SVG, with logo and design options from the Basic plan.

- Click and scan reports by country, device type and hour of day. Clicks and scans are never capped on any plan, and known bots are filtered out.

- On Pro: changing where a live link points, country and device redirects, bulk CSV import, teams, and a Broken Link Checker that lists links whose destination page has stopped loading.

- A UTM builder, link-in-bio pages, digital business cards, CSV export of links and a Mailchimp integration.

- Links made in a team workspace belong to the organisation, so they keep working when a colleague leaves.

Plans

Free ($0, 20 links or QR codes a month), Basic ($13/month, 500 and one custom domain), Pro ($32/month, 2,000 and three domains), Elite ($260/month, 5,000 and ten domains) and Enterprise by quote. Yearly billing gives two months free, and no plan charges overage or per-click fees. Free links carry no adverts and do not expire.

Usage data

In LinkShortener.io's own study of 2,056,596 clicks (July 2023 to September 2026), about three in four came from mobile devices.

Current limits

There is no public API, mobile app or browser extension, and the company holds no SOC 2 or ISO certificate. Single sign-on is built to order for Enterprise contracts.
