Lucid ELD

Lucid ELD is an FMCSA-certified electronic logging device designed for fleet management in trucking operations with 1 to 50 trucks. It operates on a usage-based billing model where charges are assessed only for active vehicle movement days, avoiding fixed monthly fees and accommodating variable workloads.

The platform integrates four components:

• ELD Compliance: FMCSA-registered electronic logging with direct extravehicular connector module connection. Supports features such as concurrent certification of driver logs, which can minimize hours-of-service policy violations, and includes capabilities for roadside inspection readiness, team driving, and automated schedule of hours alerts.
• AI Dashcam: A dual-angle high-definition video system that employs artificial intelligence to detect potential hazards like distracted driving, abrupt braking, or hazardous driving maneuvers, aiming for proactive incident avoidance.
• Safety Dashboard: Provides real-time scoring of driver performance, incident review, and fleet oversight to monitor overall safety metrics.
• Real-Time GPS Monitoring: Features live vehicle location services, geographical boundary alerts, fuel level updates from ECM data, engine diagnostic monitoring, and customizable cartographic overlays including travel information, weigh station data, rest stop locations, weather conditions, and broker or carrier sharing functionality. Route plan optimization is facilitated to yield typical fuel cost savings of 15%.

The system lacks long-term contractual obligations, supports scalable modifications to vehicle coverage, and includes round-the-clock active assistance via human agents. Deployment is intended for truck counts from 1 to 50 and sets up within under an hour through guided onboarding. Driver training requires short implementation periods.
