Our EIT department has especially utilized Microsoft Application Server this year to help combat the whole COVID situation and working remotely. We have been able to use it to connect to our servers through the web instead of being stationary on our office.
For our organization, having this software has allowed us to continue using our servers and programs throughout this year at ease.
  • Easy to use
  • Competitive pricing
  • Up to date
  • Appealing
  • Quicker respond time to tickets
  • More customization/personalization
  • More videos for new customers
Microsoft Application Server has been incredible this past year during COVID. Previously I would have said that we could go without it, but after this past season, I’m glad we have utilized it. Without having this software set up prior to COVID, we would have been in a tough situation. I mention COVID a lot because we were able to continue our work almost seamlessly this entire year.

Microsoft Application Server has stood out to me because it has been so easy to use and utilize for our organization. I was not involved in the integration but being a user I can say that it has made a huge impact to how we access and utilize our databases. I have found that using Microsoft Application Server has increased my productivity. I spend less time navigating and waiting for things to load.
I believe Microsoft Application Server is a leading product in this day and age. There are so many competing products on the market but this one has proven to be State of the Art. I highly recommend switching to this software if you haven’t. They are competitive with their pricing and they were able to work with us to help us set up quickly. Their interface is easy to navigate and was highly user friendly.
I have found Microsoft Application Server to be incredibly easy to use. I have used dozens of similar programs and have always struggled to navigate through all the functions. So far I have been able to adapt and learn this software with ease. I rarely run into a problem that I wasn’t easily able to move forward on with a few tips.

We use MS Application to enable our remote users to use our legacy or on-premises applications without the need to install the application locally on the end-users' system, or set up complex network environments. This has enabled us to have one central location to deploy, manage, and update our on-prom and legacy applications.
  • Enables you to host on-prem and legacy applications remotely without the complexity.
  • MS Application Server has been rock solid and requires very little maintenance.
  • You have the ability to manage your on-prem and legacy applications in one centralized location.
  • Applications are very fast and responsive even while being access remotely.
  • Some security hotfixes and general release updates require restarts.
  • We wish it supported more applications out of the box.
  • Thin client support would be great for MS Application Server.
MS Application Server is great at enabling your remote users to access on-premises and legacy applications remotely without the need for complex infrastructure or application installs on the remote computers. This enables you to manage on-prem and legacy applications in one central location. This is great for maintaining those application, and for security reasons.

  • MS Application Server has been great for our ROI since it has reduced dedicating IT resources to maintaining legacy applications on end-users systems.
  • We have been able to have a central location for all our legacy and on-prem applications.
  • Our IT operations have been able to greatly improve efficiencies.
Microsoft Application Server was cheaper then what IBM WebSphere Application Server would have cost us. Also, our legacy applications run much faster on MS Application Server.
MS Application requires very little maintenance, provides great performance, and enables us to manage all our on-prem and legacy applications in one central location without having to dedicate additional IT resources.

It works like a dream. We use Microsoft Application Server for our remote users to be able to access internal applications. It also basically eliminates the need for us to install applications on each client machine. This saves time and money. It centralizes multiple applications into one platform.
  • Great at being able to deploy to all users.
  • Very little maintenance is required and generally very reliable.
  • Centralized management of all applications.
  • Wished Microsoft would offer better support options that are cheaper.
  • Updates sometimes require restarts which cause downtime.
  • More support for 3rd part software vendors.
Microsoft Application Server is great to centralize management, patching, and deployment of all your business internal applications for internal and external users. It's great for enterprise deployments but a little overkill for smaller deployments of under 100 users.

  • All of our applications are now centralized into one place.
  • RIO was achieved within the first few months by eliminating the need to patch and deploy to multiple sites.
  • Our overall business objective has been achieved by being able to free up IT jobs to perform other duties.
It has a similar feature to what Microsoft Application Server has but at a greater cost and also having to deal with another vendor when we could use a full Microsoft Stack for better training and support.
Overall we have been extremely happy with our deployment of Microsoft Application Server. It has cut costs across the board and freed up IT staff.

MS Application Server is used by our remote staff and clients. Some of our applications require installation on physical systems since they are legacy applications. MS Application Server has enabled us to centralize application management to two servers and eliminated the need to update every single user's computer via scripts and deployments. This has saved us valuable resources in our IT department.
  • Microsoft Application Server has been very stable. We have had very few issues with downtime except for updates.
  • We now have a central location to manage and update our legacy apps without the need to install each app on each user's system.
  • Application performance is surprisingly very good and responsive even in bandwidth restricted environments.
  • Wish MS Application Server has support for more third-party providers.
  • Patching the server requires reboots which is a common issue with MS hotfixes and service packs.
  • Cheaper technical support options from Microsoft would be great.
MS Application is great for legacy applications that require actual app installs on endpoint user computers. It provides a central location to update and manage your legacy application and eliminates the need to install applications locally on the end-users computer. It's less well suited if you run all your applications from the cloud and they are web-based.

  • Our ROI has been great. We have been able to reduce the time spent on maintaining legacy applications which frees up IT staff to focus on other projects.
  • We have been able to standardize all of our legacy applications to one location.
  • Business operations have improved greatly by enabling all users access to our legacy applications.
We chose MS Application Server since it's fast and reliable and support complex environments and it's simple to set up and get running.
Stability is one of the first things we consider when evaluating software. MS Application Server has been rock solid and has reduced the time that our IT staff dedicates to maintaining our legacy applications.

One of the best Microsoft Products. MS Application Server enables us to provide our internal software to our internal and remote workforce users that's fast and reliable. The old days of you having to install applications is gone this has reduced IT staff man-hours by providing a central location where all applications are installed and updated.
  • One central location to administer all your applications from.
  • Has been rock solid for us with little to no downtime.
  • Applications are fast and responsible even with bandwidth restrictions.
  • Cheaper support from Microsoft would be great.
  • Wish there was a thin client option.
MS Application Server is great for any environment that requires you to run internal applications that are not accessible via for compliance reasons. If you don't require adhering to compliance requirements then MS Application Server might be overkill since more applications have been ported over to being web-accessible.

  • Our ROI has been great since it has enabled our IT staff to have a central location to perform application updates which enables us to save time and money.
  • Deployment is very easy since the internal applications that required constant updating are now updated in one central location.
  • It's a lot easier to be within compliance protocols requirements.
Too complex to setup and maintain. It also lacks enterprise-level SLA and support that Microsoft provides.
MS Application Server has been great for our company it has enabled us to free up IT staff and lowered the maintenance costs of our internal application maintenance.
