I had used Motivosity in the past for about 6 months. It actually solves internal social collaboration issues whereas we can find out what others are sharing on their feeds and we can follow our peers to know more about themselves. Also it has grouping feature, where we can join a group to connect with similar minded people. Of course this is for recognition.

Well, tool solving problem of employmees social collaboration, and providing glance at leaderboard of who stands highest in receiving recognition for particular period.However tool user interface could have been much better and also would have had mobile application to be handy to access instantly. But it serves the purpose of recognitions very well.

Motivosity is great for providing recognition for team members. As I grew the marketing team at QuickFresh I would add them to Motivosity so they could report on their goals and what they were working on. We also used this to share peer feedback and award team members for going above and beyond. As the head of the department, I was able to give rewards (gift cards, swag, etc) and my team members were also able to give each other rewards that came from the allocated marketing budget when someone exceeded expectations. This is a great motivator and the team enjoyed using this to say thank you to their peers.

By using Motivosity I saw an improvement in the team's motivation and they were more inclined to provide recognition to their peers. This is so much more effective than asking people to send in recognition via email or Slack at the end of each month. This way team members can give recognition right away.

Profit.co is great for goal tracking and for gaining a clear picture of what everyone is working on but there is no way to provide feedback or motivate the team. This is the first time I have used a tool like Motivosity that brings this all under one umbrella.

Motiviosity is used between all team members and employees. We use this to recognize employees on the hard work they have done for the team or individually. I love being able to reward my team with real money that can be, and has been, used for anything that you want. I love being able to use this software.

  • Desktop app is not the greatest.
  • Would be nice to navigate sent/received bucks.
There really is no downfall to using this service. I don't know where the funds come from every month, but I know that I will have replenished funds by the beginning of the month. There really is no better way to thank an employee than to give out real money. $1 ends up being $100 really quickly.

It is used by every department and location within our company all over the globe.
  • Helps employees appreciate and recognize each other.
  • Is awesome for reminding everyone of important dates like birthdays and work anniversaries.
  • Helps employees stay connected even when most are working from home.
  • I haven't run into any feature that has been a problem.
I love that Motivosity makes it easy to stay connected with everyone in our company. It's easy to use. With such a large organization people can sometimes get lost in the shuffle. Motivosity sends reminders and updates to let you know milestones and achievements within your direct group and with employees all over the entire company!
If you have a lot of employees that are spread out in different locations this tool is great for keeping them connected.
  • There is a list of all direct reports on each employee's home page.
  • There is a list of all the last teammates you've engaged with.
  • It's great to see the stats each month of how many employees have engaged with others to acknowledge or appreciate each other. Reports can be run to see these numbers.
  • When employees feel noticed or engaged with their productivity goes up.
