We were looking for GRC tool which can comply with Government compliances & regulations we chose Lockpath which acquired by NAVEX . The key to getting out of this product is to buy in & cooperation's between from various departments IT Security Compliance & Vendor management. It Detail plan would help successful implementation of program. It integrates with across the platform"s Applications to get related content ( Risks to venders to polices to controls)

  • Some time UI can be quirky , need to room for improvement in GUI

NAVEX One is a program that provides enough versatility to each of my files on the web to have better management, this program analyzes and guides all my processes to eliminate risks and be much more accurate when fulfilling my work tasks. it is easy and simple to implement in each operation and allows my workflow to be even more organic and secure.

  • One of the main features and functions that I like about NAVEX One is the proper management and number of solutions that it provides to my documents to achieve a better corporate response.
  • Thanks to the help of NAVEX One I can have a better control of the risks in my work area, this is thanks to the versatility that this software has to address and manage all aspects of my organization.

Cons

  • In my point of view, I would love this platform if it could be customized more to my personal taste and my needs, in this aspect it has its limitations.
  • Unfortunately, the technical support of this program is not the best when it comes to responding, the truth is that they are never capable of responding to our problems on the spot.

I am always willing to recommend this program since it is an excellent option for cloud-based solutions that will help you keep better control of your documents and, by far, of the performance of your work, NAVEX One runs as an engine to analyze compliance of risk, it is really useful and effective every time it is used.

We used EthicsPoint and PolicyTech. EthicsPoint allowed us to have a confidential and efficient way for people around the world to report suspected ethics violations. PolicyTech allowed us to develop, update, share and track policies around the world. It also help us to be more thorough in our investigations and helped to determine the best resolutions.

  • Tracking of investigations.
  • Reporting of information status.

Cons

  • Great with several languages need to add even more.
  • Keep improving confidentiality as it is a great feature.

Likelihood to Recommend

It can be used in all the country locations. Confidentiality is also a great feature. It allows witnesses to get confidential statements. The notes are also kept private and can only be viewed by the investigator and their designee(s). Those who are investigating have centralized notes that are maintained in the system.

We have 22 separate work sites across 3 counties in Central Florida. We use PolicyTech to manage our policy and procedure development workflow, from drafting policies, policy reviews, through policy implementation, distribution and the tracking of employees reading policies and testing employees on key policy elements. We use PolicyTech across the whole organization. Our implementation of PolicyTech supports employees active engagement with organizational policies and procedures and support the periodic review of polices to ensure they are up to date.

  • Supports quizzing employees on key element of policies and procedures
  • Support the the tracking of employees reading current policies
  • Prompts employees engagement with policies with reminders to read and review policies assigned to them.

  • I would like to see PolicyTech display PDF versions of policies with iOS Safari
  • I would like to see the ability to edit PolicyTech policies on an iPad
  • I would like to see a way to embed videos within a Policy and Procedure

Likelihood to Recommend

We have used PolicyTech for over 13 years. We have found it to be a robust solution, that has great technical support, and that continues to evolve as technology changes. If a business is looking for a solution to support best practices in policy and procedure development and distribution, there is no better solution than PolicyTech. We currently use PolicyTech’s SAS service. This solution would not be as effective for business environments that do not have computers for their employees to access on a daily basis.

Well suited for multi-location employers. Employees that are comfortable with technology. I have also found it useful as a tool with our constituents. They are able to use the tool and help management solve issues.

EthicsPoints is used by our students, faculty, and staff in order to identify concerns or questions that they have. Because we are an operation that has locations in all 50 states we find this tool very helpful.

The problems it identifies is everything from simple questions about processes to serious ethical or policy concerns. In a university environment, we find this very helpful.

Pros

  • Simple and easy to use. Also allows for flexibility to have certain people see the correct reports
  • Truly gives full appearance of confidentiality
  • Allows for simple updates and follow ups
  • Ability to ask questions and follow up of reporters

Cons

  • Reporting has improved but looking for more reports
  • Would like to see more choices of standard responses
  • Ability to update multiple status at once.

Likelihood to Recommend

I think EthicsPoint works as a great tool for our faculty and staff. My only concern is with some specifics around higher education. Meaning Title IX related concerns or "minor" student concerns related to grades and or classroom concerns. I am also not a huge fan of the "suggestion" options. I understand the purpose but it really hasn't been effectively used by us.

We utilized PolicyTech to manage all of the policies and procedures for our entire Behavioral Health System. We've been able to utilize Policy Tech to manage many other aspects of our agency as well including contracts, program plans, and meeting minutes. The system has allowed us to cross-reference our published policies, procedures, and other required documentation to our accreditation, licensing and regulatory requirements for ease in auditing and responding to the inquiry. We have eliminated the burden and expense of travel and time delay in being able to get policies and procedures reviewed by the committee electronically and documents updates/reviewed and published more quickly.

Pros

  • Ease of use and ability to modify documents.
  • Versatility/Adaptability to utilize for other document management processes
  • Ability to assign documents to groups of users to make policy review and notification more job/role specific

Cons

  • The multiple steps to add users and assign roles in the system could be simplified
  • The ability to be utilized with all browsers would assist in decreasing user issues and troubleshooting
  • The ability to write ad hoc reports to meet the agency needs would be great.

It has greatly simplified our policy and procedure management process and eliminated the need for manual tracking and logging of changes to meet regulatory requirements. Well suited to manage documents of all types and provide documentation of edits, updates, and review. Not well suited to publish editable PDF forms for staff to utilize.

PolicyTech is used by the entire organization for any policy. It is also being used by the entire organization for Center for Medicaid and Medicare contact evaluation requirements. Additional, we use it in limited areas for clinical protocols and clinical guidelines - both guide care of patients according to national benchmarks and federal requirements for reimbursement. It addresses education, communication and compliance issues across the organization. Everyone has the same policies at their fingertips so compliance and knowledge are at the forefront of patient care and employee relations.

Pros

  • Organization- Ability to organize the software according to your structure which enables staff to locate the documents that essential to the success of the individual and the organization. As a new healthcare worker you can readily find out how to complete patient care and have a quick reference for those low volume, high risk events
  • Accessibility- In the past we used 4 different software programs across our organization. PolicyTech has everyone across 8 states reading the same document, without fear of a region having the wrong version. All is the same no matter where you work.
  • Collaboration and Sharing- As a large organization, you can now see other's policies and determine if you need a policy on the topic or if we should have an Enterprise policy on the topic so everyone is standardized and following the same proven policy.

Cons

  • Searching- Ability to search using more than one search attribute, but not all attributes, or just one attribute. For example, it would be nice to search for title and keywords.

Likelihood to Recommend

The software is perfect for any document that you want to have collaborations on from a group- with the software being completely electronic, everyone can chime in when they are available instead a scheduled time for the group to meet.
