Use Cases and Deployment Scope
The management of the company introduced Netwrix SbPAM to monitor privileged accounts activities due to an audit recommendation. Me, as a system admin, can perform admin activities on temporary basis instead of having the privileged role all the time.
Pros
- Access to critical resources in a controlled way
- Monitor admin user activities
- Evidence of admin user actions in case of problems
Cons
- the native rdp connection could be a little faster
- The initial connection could be easier
Return on Investment
- Not sure about the ROI (I am not manager), but it is perfect to protect the company assets and information against foul play by a disgruntled employee.
