These are the two needs we must address to ensure high availability and load management during periods of high concurrency. Our backends are distributed across clustered servers with geographical distribution, making an effective high availability and load balancing system imperative. That's where NGINX comes in.

We currently deploy NGINX Plus as a reverse proxy and load balancer fronting some of MOE's (Moesif Plugin for NGINX) more important public-facing services. Active health checks and dynamic reconfiguration let us run HA (high availability) across upstream pools without downtime, which keeps services up and coordinated so we continue delivering uninterrupted services to members of the public.
