We are extremely satisfied with what Nintex DocGen is able to do for our organization. Our primary functions include generating mass receipts that are run on a daily basis, and it is used by our programs department to generate several different document bundles. This has increased our efficiency as an organization.
  • Document Generation.
  • Bundling
  • Field Inserts.
  • Signature feature (maybe they already have it, just not utilizing it).
  • Approval Process.
It is best suited for scenarios that apply to generating documents based on information gathered in your Salesforce. By using the field inserter and uploading a template for generation, you are able to take that Salesforce information and create a digestible document for your intended audience. You are able to generate multiple documents by creating different templates for use.
  • Adding multiple templates.
  • Inserting fields from different objects into the same template.
  • Very user-friendly UI in Salesforce.
  • Manually filling in templates.
  • Manually bundling documents.
  • Mass send-offs.
I believe that Conga is a great tool that is very similar to Nintex. However, I do believe Nintex is constantly updating its features. I also like the fact that their knowledge base on the website is wonderful and not convoluted. In addition to that, the customer service is amazing. I don't think I remember having any issues with Nintex, but I do remember one instance where they got back to me within 2 hours, and I appreciated that.

At our company, we use Nintex Drawloop DocGen for Salesforce. Salesforce is our CRM system and we utilize Nintex to automatically populate forms and templates to be sent out to our clients. Using this has really helped automate a lot of things and makes it a lot easier to send out the documentation for our clients to sign electronically right through Salesforce.
  • Building documentation is super easy
  • Sending out that documentation after it is built is most of the time seamless
  • Customer service at Nintex is awesome if we ever need anything
  • Occasionally there will be a glitch in our documents if we try and save changes over a document. Might be user error on our side though
Building documents is super easy. I work alongside our Salesforce Team to build these documents, and have always have a very great user experience with them. We build a lot of quoting templates, so adding in multiple line items with pricing and discount items that get sent to our clients to electronically sign. The document tagger is a great feature to have.
  • A LOT of saved time on workflow automation
  • Provides an easier solution for our clients to sign documents
  • Customer Experience overall is great using this tool
I would rate both platforms as high. I have had great experiences on both ends!

We use it to generate receipts and year end tax statements.
  • Generate receipts.
  • Generate tax year end statements.
  • Easier set up.
  • Easier field mappings.
Once you set it up it is easy to use. The setup is a pain. Definitely need support to set up otherwise it's confusing. Even updating the document is not straightforward.
  • Mail merge.
  • Generate documents.
  • Users are able to generate receipts directly.
  • Users are able to generate year end tax statements.
5 years ago it was more affordable.
