Use Cases and Deployment Scope

In our organization, I use OpenVPN Access Server to provide remote and secure access to our corporative enviroment. Before OpenVPN, we were limited on provide this kind of access, and managing of uncentralized user administration . With OpenVPN Access Server deployment, we were able to manager the access permissitions thrugh Active Directory, and provide a secure connection to remote workers and partners.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

The majority of OpenVPN users are our sales staff, who travel quite often. While on the road, either with a customer or in between at a hotel, they may need to access files or tools that are kept solely in our network. Using OpenVPN is easy, and they can access our network from anywhere.

We've sunset tools built strictly to bypass our old, worthless VPN.

Limited functionality for iPhone users, but I believe that is due to an apple issue.
