Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Picturepark is a DAM system. We need a system to manage our digital assets and then distribute them across various platforms. Picturepark offers an easy interface and provides an API that allows you to connect to different systems.

Pros

  • Organizing content
  • Onboarding new users
  • Customization to fix the needs of the organization
  • The support is really good. Quick to respond to issues and helps with fixes.

Cons

  • Staring up is a bit confusing. It's tricky to understand how things are connected and where to go to make system changes
  • Some functionality is scatter in different areas. You need to remember in what area things are to make changes
  • Some functionality changes can only be done by Picturepark which means you have to wait for them to make changes.

Return on Investment

  • It's been very easy to onboard new users. Switching from an older version to the latest version feels like a brand new experience. Training and getting users moving in the new system has been very easy.
  • Updating to the new system makes it easier to understand how the content should be used.
  • the collections function is very easy to use and allows users to share content with others in an easy gui overview.
