I use it personally to monitor ISP stability. As we are all work from home, it is important to have a stable connection. Sometimes we don't know where the issue is coming from. Pingplotter lets us know very quickly if the issue is the ISP, the route or the service we are using. Its been very helpful in diagnosing connection issues.
Pros
Reporting
Logs
Live data
Cons
More information on what some of the features are for
Add multi-window. Allow multiple destinations to be logged in a single window.
I use PingPlotter to diagnose networks and identify communication issues. It's a great tool to locate patterns and issues and evaluate network health. In large scale deployments, pinpointing a point of fault in a large multi-layered network can be a nightmare and constant monitoring tools are not that easy to come by. Thankfully PingPlotter saved the day and allowed us to have a very good overview of what's happening with the time stamps and ultimately locate the issues and faults.
Pros
monitoring connection health
locating points of fault
monitoring performance patterns and degradation causes
Cons
information filtering. PingPlotter can take it a step further by providing summaries and outliers and detecting patterns
further diagnostics assistance, by detecting potential faults and suggesting the potential underlying issues

It's a great tool to use in network diagnostics. provides great overviews of the network performance and health and enables you to conduct proper long term monitoring
I needed something to give me more insight into my network connectivity at a glance (LAN/WAN and over VPN) and this does that very well, and without a lot of set up or maintenance... Just plug in a destination to monitor and it just does it. Being able to see a long history makes it even more valuable.
Pros
Endpoint monitoring
Ping monitoring
Jitter monitoring
Charting/logging
Cons
The only thing that was a slight gotcha was the ability to add notes. The ability to leave notes in the timeline was not evident and I only found out about them after finding some unidentified markers. It might help if that functionality were more evident.

Anyone needing to keep tabs on specific devices or test the latency of one or more devices over time could really use this. It might be overkill if you are just looking for a quick, and dirty, "is it down" but its simplicity makes it just as quick as a manual PING.
Simple to setup, nice interface and works like a charm. Overall at great tool for diagnostics and baselining a network. Help with network diagnostics is a great add for any tool. Takes the mystery out of determining what the results mean. The baseline is critical to know when your network has changed and when that started.
Pros
Baselining
Diagnostics
Interface is simple
Cons
Alerting by SMS or Email
consolidation of other pingplotter instances for comparison
submission of results for assistance

Troubleshooting on multiple subnets at different locations allowed us to see which networks had issues while others were unaffected. Gave insight into when and what was happening Real Time!
Six months ago our home network started to become unreliable. Some days it was perfect, other days terrible. Unbundled internet means we were caught between the ISP and the network provider and each blamed the other.
After changing tbe box (twice) I discovered PingPlotter and provided the data of pinging 8.8.8.8 and 1.1.1.1 compared to home network pings to my ISP and this convinced them to call the network provider. They did their own VDSL measurements and confirmed the problem was in the cable. After going down a manhole cover and (I imagine) stripping the end off the cable and re-connecting it the problems largely went away. But then we noticed that although the network speed tripled (!) the pings showed the network dropped badly every Sunday for three successive weeks. After TWO more visits from the network provider saying nothing was wrong the network 'miraculously' became perfect again, presumably because they checked the logs and discovered further problems. Thanks PingPlotter for providing the burden of proof we needed to get things fixed!
Pros
Easy to set up and use
Clear diagnostics
Ability to drill down into the information
Cons
Pricing free for personal use

I'm using PingPlotter to trace network issues when WFH. Video conferencing is unstable and I'm trying to work out where in the chain the issues are. PingPlotter is able to give me some excellent insight and I can see significant packet loss in BT servers a few hops into the journey. What to do about that is another matter, but PingPlotter is doing a great job of showing me where the issues are!
Pros
Simple to use
Decent UI
Quick and lightweight app
Cons
further explanation of the graphs would be useful. The lines are not always intuitive
Likelihood to Recommend
My only experience is using PingPlotter at home, so I'm not sure how well suited it is for an enterprise, but for my use case - troubleshooting WFH issues - it has been very useful

I was having issues with a WFH (work from home) setup and used PingPlotter to track the issue to a router. PingPlotter let me see the effects of my configuration changes and showed me exactly when the problems occured so I could correlate the issues in equipment logs.
Pros
plots latency
shows connectivity route
timestamps
Likelihood to Recommend
PingPlotter is excellent to help diagnose connectivity issues. Especially in WFH situations where much of the network connectivity is not your own.
