I am a course creator and I use Podia to host and sell my courses as it's really a buisness in a bic and especially now with its email updates potentially the only tool you would need. It provides the website, the emails, the email capture, the course hosting/video hosting, certificates, the course portal, the sales pages and sales processes, coupons, and affiliate system.
Pros
Emails
Course hosting
Website creation
Website chat
Cons
More advanced tagging system for emails
Improved upsell and downsells
Improved affiliate portal
Website and email capture further editing
It doesn't have a real blog function

If you are not techy want to create a course creation type of business then I think its really great. I have used a lot of programs and only a few are complete and Podia is there except for a full fledge blogging platform (you can do a version but it's not quite the same). It's probably the most user friendly email system I have used and the website builder is very user friendly as well. I think if you are a serious blogger and wanting seo traffic to drive to your site, this one thing to watch and consider not as competitive then vs kajabi.

I am a sleep coach for parents of young babies and toddlers with clients all over the world. I am also an instructor; I teach professionals how to use my methods/approach. I use Podia as my website host to attract new clients and instruct parents. I need my website to showcase free resources such as my blog, social media, articles on other websites, a Facebook Group and my podcast. I also use it to design and host my digital programs and workshops.
When I signed up with Podia, I needed an affordable platform that offered a website builder, a storefront for selling my digital products and coaching services, email services, and a place to build my digital courses and a membership site. I used to use 4 sites for all of these needs and it was expensive. Switching to Podia cut my costs dramatically. It's very convenient and they are always adding new features and trying to improve what they offer.
Pros
Web Builder
Storefront
Digital course creator
Bundling workshops/programs
easy to update and add to my website
customer service is awesome
Cons
I sometimes wish there was more that I could customize on my website and digital programs
I wish their email service (for broadcasts/group emails) had more features and customization
I would like to use my brand font

In my experience, Podia has been well suited in every way! I am a small company with a couple of independent contractors, and I don't know how to build my own website. I am not very techy. I get lots of compliments on how my website looks! I have had some people support me with setting up my group emails for my email list and setting up automations, and these techy people complained that they needed to do more customization in the email formatting and programming, so I switched to MailChimp for those needs. Otherwise, I have been very happy with Podia and I am grateful to have a platform that offers so many services/features. It's affordable and user friendly. My clients and students are happy using it, too.
