Polinode

Polinode is an Organizational Network Analysis (ONA) platform for People Analytics teams, management consultants, and researchers. The platform identifies informal organizational structures and collaboration patterns using both survey-based and integration-based data collection. The software maps informal networks to analyze information flow, identify bottlenecks, and locate key connectors within an organization.

The survey engine for Active ONA includes six question types, logic branching, and multi-language support. It provides anonymization controls and templates for mapping advice networks, mentorship, and influence.

Passive ONA is supported through native integrations with Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Microsoft Teams, and Slack. It automatically collects communication metadata to provide longitudinal views of collaboration without requiring manual data pipelines.

The platform analyzes networks of up to 50,000 nodes and 250,000 edges. It calculates over 30 metrics, including degree, betweenness, closeness, and eigenvector centrality, and provides Louvain community detection. A REST API is available for programmatic extension.

AI Networks Chat provides a natural language interface for querying network data. It identifies department bridges and evaluates connectivity risks based on network position.

Primary use cases include change management, post-merger integration, organizational redesign, and inclusion measurement based on network connectivity metrics.

The platform is SOC 2 certified and utilizes AES-256 encryption. It includes multi-factor authentication and is GDPR compliant.

A white-label version is available for consulting firms to deliver ONA services under their own branding.

Polinode supports both Active and Passive ONA in a single tool, scales to 50,000 nodes, and integrates natural language analysis into the ONA workflow.
