What is Precisely Automate?

Automate Studio is an Excel-to-SAP solutions platform that enables business users to automate complex SAP business processes and make mass data changes quickly and easily.


Training every functional employee to use SAP or finding temporary workers with SAP experience can be difficult and expensive. Automate Studio helps to eliminate this challenge by enabling business users to run and manage SAP ERP tasks simply and securely from Excel.


Once a script is created, it can be deployed to specific users, departments, or groups who can execute them from within Excel. Because Automate Studio adheres to all SAP security, user, and business rules, you can rest assured that no unauthorized activities will happen in your SAP system.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Precisely Automate Studio for multiple types of data, (master data, transactional data) create, change, retrieval scenario in our organization. Our processes are data centric and means hundreds of thousands of data point creation / change every day. Precisely Automate Studio helps by eliminating the manual effort and saves us big amount of time for it works with templates and multi instance background runs with right scripts and templates. Example being condition records maintenance which otherwise would be a very slow process, Precisely Automate Studio eliminates that for us.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Precisely Automate to automate processes within our ERP system, SAP. I am the one who did the implementation/setup, or the administration side. I can't speak too much of the usage of the tool, but from our users who do use it we have nothing but positive things to say. It was simple and easy to connect, and support was great whenever they needed to get involved.
