Besides Proliant, what other software do you regularly use? How likely would you be to recommend it to a friend or colleague?

From 19 reviews | Last Published May 29, 2026

An analysis of 19 reviews indicates that while several software applications are regularly used by respondents in addition to Proliant, specific details regarding their recommendation likelihood or the reasons for their adoption are not extensively articulated. Three distinct software solutions, QuickBooks Desktop Pro, Employee Navigator, and Microsoft 365, were each mentioned by two reviewers. These mentions suggest their presence in the operational workflows of a segment of the user base. However, the available data primarily identifies these tools by name without providing qualitative insights into user experiences, perceived benefits, or any challenges encountered. Consequently, a comprehensive assessment of user sentiment or a detailed understanding of why these tools are utilized alongside Proliant is not possible based on the current review set. The consistency in the number of mentions for these three applications suggests they represent a common, albeit underexplored, part of the broader software ecosystem for these users.

Please provide some detailed examples of areas where Proliant has room for improvement.

From 19 reviews | Last Published May 29, 2026

Reviewers identified several key areas where Proliant could enhance its service and platform, primarily focusing on customer support, reporting capabilities, user interface, and specific functional modules. The most frequently cited concern, mentioned by 26% of reviewers, pertains to Customer Service and Representative Responsiveness, with users experiencing delays in receiving support and a lack of alternative contact methods outside of their designated representative. Over one-fifth of reviewers (21%) also highlighted Reporting Limitations and Clarity, noting difficulties with custom report creation and the inability to easily extract data for specific date ranges. Furthermore, 16% of the feedback indicated that the User Interface and Ease of Use could be improved, describing it as clunky and not intuitive for new users. An equal proportion of reviewers (16%) pointed to challenges within Time Administration and PTO Management, specifically regarding unreliable notifications and complexities in managing time off for salaried employees. Finally, 11% of reviewers reported significant issues during the Onboarding Process, which led to initial operational disruptions and increased workload.

Customer Service and Representative Responsiveness

The customer service portion has had some challenges. While we do really appreciate having a main point of contact, it has been a challenge to not have a general number to call into with quick questions and instead, we typically have to email our designated rep which could take days to hear back from if the topic is not urgent.

Reporting Limitations and Clarity

We have run into a lot of hiccups with reports we thought we could either custom create or edit existing and have found that to be lacking at times.

User Interface and Ease of Use

The time administration feature feels dated and could use improvements in terms of being able to view specific pay periods, download timesheets, have a more modern view.

Please provide some detailed examples of things that Proliant does particularly well.
