Reteno
What is Reteno?
Reteno is a messaging platform for subscription-based mobile apps. It manages lifecycle communication designed to convert free and trial users into paying subscribers and raise customer lifetime value, with omnichannel delivery across Email, Mobile Push, In-App Messaging, App Inbox, SMS, Web Push, and messengers. The platform serves growth teams running Web2App, freemium, trial, and direct install funnels, and is used by 300+ brands across the US and Europe.
Its core AI capabilities include:
- Agent-based campaign management. Reteno connects to Slack, Claude Cowork, and OpenAI Codex through dedicated agents and plugins linked to a user's account. Instead of opening the platform interface, a marketer describes a task in plain language, and the agent executes it—editing email templates, managing contacts and segments, sending events, and analyzing campaign performance directly inside those tools.
- Continuous message testing. The "One from Many" block runs automated A/B testing within a single workflow node, removing the need to clone flows or build separate branches. Marketers upload multiple message variants—up to hundreds for a single campaign. The system splits traffic randomly to gather engagement data such as click-through rate, then progressively routes more volume to stronger performers in real time. It also prevents users in repeating event-triggered workflows from seeing the same message twice, reducing fatigue. A workout app applying this to reminder campaigns increased conversions by 29%.
- Message generation. Within the "One from Many" block, the platform generates new push notification titles, subtitles, and body copy based on the best-performing existing variants, drawing on up to five messages when seeding new workflows. For email, built-in tools translate, correct, and rewrite copy, subject lines, and preheaders inside the editor, and the Multilanguage feature manages localized content within one campaign.
- Vertical workflows. Reteno provides pre-built messaging sequences, covering abandoned subscription recovery, onboarding, trial reminders, reactivation, and more.
These tools let subscription teams iterate on trial-to-paid conversion and manage cross-channel campaigns from one hub without frequent tool switching or developer involvement.
