Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use RightCapital as our financial planning software in the composition of Financial Plan documents for clients. We make the platform available for clients (albeit with limited access in most cases) to view financial data and forecasts. In addition, we use the Vault feature as the clients' primary storage and document exchange point. For security reasons, we do not use email to exchange sensitive client information or documents; that is done through the Vault.

  • Weekly meetups to educate us more on how the platform is used

Cons

  • Customize the colors on the main platform
  • Continue to build tutorial videos as the platform expands
  • Allow us to manually input budget data for budget tracking purposes

Likelihood to Recommend

I think it is well suited for planners that are just starting out and have an appreciation for cash flow analysis for their clients. I think it is more bang for your buck in that regard. The cash flow analysis can be a helpful addition when discussing client finances because it's easy to say that goals will be reached, but it's better to describe, year by year, how a client's cash flow will look.
