I use Samsara for safety telematics on my trucks: video; speed; location. I found Samsara to be a great partner for this service. The hardware was extremely easy to install and set up. I was able to complete an installation without professional services and do it quickly and completely. Using Samsara is also easy. The Dashboard is intuitive and my dispatchers were up and running in minutes. I especially like the features of the system. Video on demand is critical to our accident investigation. Hyperlapse allows me to grab long segments of video without having to go through them in real-time. The camera snapshots let me look in on a driver at a given time without having to download video - when all I need is a snapshot.

A camera system is a must for any trucking operation regardless of size or function. Samsara has a great system, easy to install, with features for any carrier.

Samsara [for Fleets] is currently used to complete the DOT/FMCSA guidelines for ELD Compliance in our fleet. In addition the the compliance guidelines we also use it for tracking our fleet and helping to analyze route efficiencies along with opportunities for improvement in areas such as idle time, fuel consumption and driver behavior that presents safety risks and increased maintenance costs.

Samsara [for Fleets] is an excellent solution not only to help with the DOT/FMCAS ELD compliance regulation, it has helped our organization stay on top of our fleet health and maintenance better than ever before. This program takes the mileage from the trucks and uses that information to calculate the maintenance intervals for all service schedules created. Then it will give you warnings as the vehicles approach those intervals in order to help plan out maintenance for your fleet minimizing down time.

Samsara is a great tool for tracking our vehicles and also for being able to view video footage to prevent and review incidents on the road. The front facing and cab facing cameras are invaluable to ensure the safety of our employees and prioritization of our customers. We have used the footage multiple times.
