SAP Build - A Powerful Low-Code Platform for Quick Development
Use Cases and Deployment Scope
In my organization, I use SAP Build for low-code development platform for quick business applications and some of my workflow. It really helpful for both developer and business user to collaborate together to make solutions. The main point of using SAP Build is to design workflow automation and custom business application that can integrate easily. It helps to solve various business challenges like slow development and some dependency on some developer, but accessing low-code product made easy.
Pros
- Quick application development like it makes it very super simple to create applications fast using just drag-and-drop interface and low-code method.
- Workflow automation and some process optimization is one of the stronger feature of this product that provide automation for our requirement.
- Easily integration with SAP product
Cons
- Only Learning curve for more complex feature as some advanced feature like complex workflow logic, some integration and customization need some good understanding of SAP services.
- Low-code interface is good, but with having some limited options for customization in UI.
- Performance can be consider main things when using large application development with complex flows that time it feels slower.
Likelihood to Recommend
SAP Build works well in some quickly develop internal application and one of automate workflows without focusing on older methods. It helpful for scenarios like approval workflows, internal data management apps and creating dashboards, but SAP can be less appropriate when it comes to large complex application and flows where it need custom coding and some other more UI customization as per requirement.
