Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use SAP Build in streamlining workflows and managing data. This platform integration with SAP S/4HANA cloud allows us to automate tasks like ticketing routines and allows us to monitor system health. SAP Build allows us to submit IT tickets and create applications for multiple platforms.

Pros

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We are using SAP Build app functionality for Application development and work flow automation process in our organization. Leave application and travel allowance of employee has been developed using SAP Build app and employees are currently using it. SAP Build app is easy for developer using LOW Code NO Code functionality. Also lots of development efforts are saved.

In our organization we are using travel allowance application for employees and leave application for employees. Automation process saved lots of time. Earlier it was manual process and takes lots of time for concern approvals. Now it is very easy for employees to take follow up and review of their application status. SAP Build app is not suited in applications where complex logic is involved.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We had problem in the fixed assets acquisitions and SAP Build helped with fixing the problem effectively. SAP Build with low code capabilities helped with invoicing processing program fixes and some HR functions. We definitely recommend this for other media clients and would be great fit considering business processes and other reasons

We use for low code uses cases. We are mainly using for Fiori extensions for our on-premise Fiori apps.
we also use for BTP CAPM applications.
we deployed 4 different use cases for capm applications which is like pricing cockpit which integrates with CPI and job scheduling service which in turn talks to on-premises backend application.

Since we migrated to S/4HANA, we could not use the legacy AP automation application for supplier invoice OCR. We build a new AP supplier invoice OCR in SAP Build. The SAP Build supplier OCR also recognize invoice metadata like invoice date, supplier name, amount, etc

We are using SAP Build app in our organization for Process automation and mobile application development. It uses Low code no code functionality that is very helpful for developer to build the automation. We have developed automation for various KPI's for our organization. Web based leave approval system is developed using SAP Build and process automation for approval is also mapped.

In procurement module automation from purchase requisition to purchase order is in process. It gives seamless integration with SAP S/4HANA data. Based on low code so no heavy coding required. Only work flow logic is needed. When complex logic involved it is less appropriate

In my organization, I use SAP Build for low-code development platform for quick business applications and some of my workflow. It really helpful for both developer and business user to collaborate together to make solutions. The main point of using SAP Build is to design workflow automation and custom business application that can integrate easily. It helps to solve various business challenges like slow development and some dependency on some developer, but accessing low-code product made easy.

Pros

Quick application development like it makes it very super simple to create applications fast using just drag-and-drop interface and low-code method.
Workflow automation and some process optimization is one of the stronger feature of this product that provide automation for our requirement.
Easily integration with SAP product

Cons

Only Learning curve for more complex feature as some advanced feature like complex workflow logic, some integration and customization need some good understanding of SAP services.
Low-code interface is good, but with having some limited options for customization in UI.
Performance can be consider main things when using large application development with complex flows that time it feels slower.

Likelihood to Recommend

SAP Build works well in some quickly develop internal application and one of automate workflows without focusing on older methods. It helpful for scenarios like approval workflows, internal data management apps and creating dashboards, but SAP can be less appropriate when it comes to large complex application and flows where it need custom coding and some other more UI customization as per requirement.

SAP Build helps to build the application in a very easy way on the cloud. Its a go to application for the developers coming out from the core layer. It helps to explore the generative AI capabilities. It helps in quick development of small applications without having to spend a lot of time in development. This helps in the decision-making and the report generation. Can’t wait to integrate more with the non-SAP core systems.

Quick reporting what is the production scenario where there are issues in the data generation give the capability to the Functional have less technology experience on the development. This may be the next generation development introduction when we have the issues in the invoices those can be resolved with the added formats develop using SAP Build.
