We have BW/HANA for Enterprise Finance data hub. We source data from multiple sources into this data hub. We build reports on top of this data hub to support Financial management reports as well as Financial Close consolidation for external reporting. We also expose Finance data to external interfaces for different use cases.

  • UI is lacking
  • I want it to be like an App on my phone and not take a manual to figure out

SAP data intelligence was implemented on clients databases and warehouse to provide advanced analytics solutions which helped them in data storing, enrichment, data manipulation and dashboarding. The limitations which they faced earlier while handling large chunk of data were eliminated when they moved to SAP. Client loved the platform when they implemented SAP data intelligence

We use SAP Data Intelligence to build data pipelines to streamline the processes of data cleaning and transformation which further helps to identify key insights and create dashboards. It helps us to easy consolidate data from varied sources and automate data processes which further helps us to easy deploy ML models in order to get data-driven solutions for specific usecases.

  • Installations process is quite complex, chances of mistakes are high
  • Hard to perform operations on semi structured data

Likelihood to Recommend

It is well suited to augment data from multiple resources (including APIs) and automate workflows. Dashboard helps in easy analyse and monitoring the key KPIs. However, advance visualization features are missing.

Further, deploying ML models with ease is a plus. Also, its multiple language support ( Python, R etc) helps user to easy write code.
