Currently we are doing POC using SAP DWC. WE are running into few issues like loading JSON file in DWC is very tedious. When we will have hierarchy node authorization support in DWC? When will the consumption CDS views supported in DWC? We would also like to know when data extraction using rest API will be supported in DWC? Last but not least when can we use Standard Hierarchy in S04?
Pros
Modelling with non SAP data and SAP data
Easy to connect with Azure data sources
Simple and easy data builder
Cons
Hierarchy node authorization
Using Rest API for data extraction
Loading JSON files easily
Using consumption cds view from S04
allow to use S04 Standard Hierarchy in DWC
Likelihood to Recommend
Very well used for SAP and Non SAP data integration and comparison scenarios. Answering some of the Audit challenge questions.
