Very positive after three years of SnapComms use
Use Cases and Deployment Scope
We use SnapComms to enable fast and efficient communications between our HQ and our retail estate. It is being used across multiple departments to send out urgent communications and also to keep team members informed of various company activities and events. It is very easy to target specific groups or users or even machines for accurate and simple communication. The template system means that you do not need to create your announcements, tickers, etc. each time; rather, you can simply select a past template and update the wording. This also means that the communications are standardized, which in turn means staff will know what it is about or what the urgency of that communication is. It is also a great way to quickly and efficiently get feedback from your remote staff or users via the questionnaire templates. Once responded to, you will have access to detailed statistics on the level of response and its content.
Pros
- Clear and direct messaging
- Groups and targets users
- Small footprint on PCs
Cons
- Auto update of the client silently
- Better data capture for statistics
- One-time licensing
Likelihood to Recommend
If you need to communicate urgent or timely messages to a specific group is users or computers, then SnapComms is ideal. It is perhaps not so useful to use it as a training delivery tool, but you can use it to send out newsletters or messages that contain a link to a training source.
