Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We are using TerminalFour as a content management tool for our websites. We create custom templates that are then used by novice users who we've trained in on TerminalFour. It's being used across many departments and schools. This helps us give power to users in departments who are not technically savvy like us developers/designers. This makes it possible to keep our websites fresh and current because many more people can make changes. TerminalFour has proven to be a flexible and easy to use system for our end users and though it's not perfect I would recommend it to others.

Pros

Easy to navigate site management.
Customizable templating with not much limitation.
User management by groups.
Selective publishing.

Cons

It can be a bit buggy with media library management.
The html editor can act pretty wonky sometimes with the html it translates things into.
The navigation builder tool is pretty confusing.

Likelihood to Recommend

It's an extremely flexible solution. It can be a nightmare to work with if not properly planned out or fantastic if well thought out. If you have a team and an application owner with a plan it's a great option.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

TerminalFour was the content management system for publishing the web site. It was used by a few departments who had been given access. It enabled users to easily publish content to the web site.

I was happy with the product in its current state.

Likelihood to Recommend

It is very good for users because it is simple to use and easy to understand. Although it is nice if users have a background in web design and HTML, it is not necessary in order to make basic updates to a web page.
