What is TextSpot?
TextSpot is presented as simple text reminder and SMS marketing software used to manage and send mass text messages. Users can:
- Schedule texts
- Create groups
- Create recurring texts
- Send bulk messages
When a contact or list of contacts is uploaded to TextSpot, it will automatically check the phone number associated with the contact to make sure it is a valid and active phone number that can receive messages. This helps to ensure credits will not be wasted on SMS sent to undeliverable numbers. Contacts can also be uploaded through a pre-existing list, or a web form.
Users can then create and send recurring text messages, multiple times at the same interval, to the same contact or list of contacts through TextSpot. Texts can also be sent on a schedule.
TextSpot can be connected to existing applications through Zapier, to create automations. This helps users to create autoresponders, abandoned cart recovery solutions (for instance through an integration with Shopify), drip campaigns or engagement workflows, and surveys. TextSpot also includes a URL shortener for sending customers links, with link tracking.
TextSpot is priced per message credits (1 segment SMS Message = 1 credit). Discounts are available for volume credit purchases, as well as for annual pricing (vs. paying monthly).
