Things isn't a widely used app in my organization. My understanding is that everyone tries their best to find a way to organize their work in the best possible way. To me, it addresses the problem of collecting, processing, sorting, and prioritizing work tasks. I occasionally also use it for private matters, when there's a bigger event planned, and not just for grocery shopping.
Pros
- Keeps track of my daily priorities.
- Collects my work tasks.
- Let's me sort and prioritize tasks.
- Organize my tasks.
Cons
- Shortcut for moving tasks to areas.
Likelihood to Recommend
It's great for everyday use, whether you adhere to the GTD regimen fully or just need a way to quickly capture and sort your tasks. However, it may be less suited if you're looking for a task manager that lets you collaborate with others or if you want to visualize your tasks in other ways, like a Gantt chart.
