Trend Micro Email Security is an email security gateway (SEG) solution great at detecting different types of email security threats like phishing, BEC, APT, spams etc. The security solution provides a very simple user interface which makes it easy to customize the policies and settings based on your specific requirements.

Pros

  • The user interface is simple to understand and navigate, making it easy to customize policies and settings
  • Customizable dashboards to monitor different types of threats other email traffic
  • Available in-built virtual sandbox for both file and URL malware analysis

Cons

  • Some of the search filters have a limited custom search range, which can be frustrating when trying to search for a specific incident within a wider time frame

Spam or junk mail was the biggest issue at too many organizations, so the best solution is Trend Micro Email Security it's a perfect Cloud based App Security system. It's good to encrypt email and very easy to sync with Microsoft Office 365 also, good for scanning the email to protect our system from viruses. :)

  • Trend Micro Email Security provides, among email Encryption and it's really helpful to protect the email from hackers.
  • It's very easy to sync with Microsoft™ Office™ 365, just one click to install.
  • Total cloud based security system so it's doesn't affect system memory, with very less memory space it could run very smoothly.

Cons

  • I don't think Trend Micro Email Security missed Something, it's a full Package of mail security.

Return on Investment

  • Overall Trend Micro Email Security is superb and good choice. Nothing negative impact on business and working process of PC.

we sell the solution to our customers. The mail is routed to trendmicro servers where it is checked and then returned to our mailserver.

You can create rules for checking mail, spam, attachment size, you can specify blacklist or whitelist, search the logs to understand which rules have been applied to each single incoming mail.

Trend Micro Email Security is actively used for every mailbox in our entire organization, by everyone without exception. We have been using it for 5-6 years as the most important link of our mail security chain. The greater the importance of security today, the more important is mail protection in case of targeted, untargeted attacks from outside.

  • Mail analytics SPF, DKIM and DMARC
  • Known threats (spam, malware, malicious URLs and graymail)
  • Unknown threats (malware, url) detection
  • Keyword Filter, Domain Filter.

Cons

  • It would be great if there was a structure where users would approve or rate their own mails.
  • Outlook add-in would be nice.

  • Since everything happens on the cloud, a server, software, etc. does not create an e-mail.
  • Security has no set price, because customer trust cannot be bought with money.The return on this investment equals all of our customer confidence.
