What is Trent AI?

Trent AI is an agentic AI security platform designed to work like an AI security engineer for teams shipping AI agents, MCP servers, and LLM applications.

What it does
Trent continuously scans code, cloud configuration, and AI agents; builds an AI-native threat model of the application and its agentic architecture; prioritizes findings by real risk; generates remediation guidance; and verifies that proposed fixes actually landed.

Key capabilities
- Continuous security assessment across codebases and AI agent workflows, including MCP servers and plugins
- Attack-chain tracing that correlates individual findings into multi-step compromise paths
- Remediation loop: prioritized, severity-rated findings with fix guidance and post-fix verification
- Integration into developer workflows via GitHub and an MCP server for Claude Code

Differentiators
Trent is built for AI-native and AI-assisted development: it assesses code shipped with AI coding tools and evaluates agentic behavior rather than only static patterns. In a published evaluation against 28 real CVEs from the CWE-Bench-Java dataset, Trent was tested alongside Claude Code, Codex, Semgrep, and CodeQL, with methodology publicly documented.

The platform is commercially available in early access, with demos available on request. The vendor also maintains trentclaw, an open-source (Apache-2.0) security scanner for OpenClaw agent environments.
