What is TrilioVault?
TrilioVault is a backup, recovery, and migration technology for cloud infrastructure. TrilioVault is designed to adhere to the characteristics required by cloud environments and is presented as flexible, fault tolerant, and forever scalable. It offers self-service, multi-tenant, policy-based comprehensive backup and recovery of workloads running in OpenStack. The solution captures environmental points-in-time (application, OS, compute, network, configurations, security groups, data and metadata of an environment) as full or incremental snapshots. These snapshots can be held in a variety of storage environments including NFS, Swift and 3rd party arrays.
With TrilioVault’s single-click recovery, the vendor states organizations can improve Recovery Time Objectives (RTO) and Recovery Point Objectives (RPO), but also can have the confidence of migrating legacy applications and workloads into production environments with no fear of data loss. IT departments can fully deploy OpenStack solutions and provide business assurance through enhanced data retention, protection and integrity.
TrilioVault is available to download as a Free Trial or Basic Edition for Kubernetes & OpenShift. TrilioVault Enterprise Edition offers support for Kubernetes, OpenShift, OpenStack or Red Hat Virtualization. By integrating with the RHV SDK, TrilioVault enables incremental forever snapshots of applications and VMs (including valuable metadata pertaining to the OS, VM network configurations, and storage volumes). TrilioVault even integrates with RHV Manager out-of-the-box to provide administrators with complete visibility into their infrastructure operations in a single view.
