Zelviq

Zelviq is a cloud-based manufacturing operations and lot traceability platform for small and mid-sized batch manufacturers in food, beverage, dietary supplements, cosmetics and chemical production. It combines inventory, purchasing, production and traceability records in one system, aimed at teams that have outgrown spreadsheets but do not want a lengthy ERP implementation.

Inventory and Lot Control

Zelviq tracks on-hand stock in real time by lot, location and expiry date. FEFO (first-expired, first-out) and FIFO draw policies direct operators to the correct lot at picking. Quality holds prevent quarantined lots from being consumed or shipped. Counts and transfers are recorded against specific lots, and an inventory ledger keeps a full movement history.

Production

Batches run from versioned recipes and bills of materials. Work orders record which ingredient lots were consumed and create finished-goods lots with their own lot codes. Units of measure convert automatically between purchasing and recipe units. Actual output is compared with planned yield, and when ingredient consumption exceeds the configured policy limit, the work order cannot be closed until a supervisor approves the exception with a recorded reason.

Traceability and Recalls

Every receipt, production run and shipment is linked by lot, giving one-up/one-back genealogy across the supply chain. From any lot, users can trace backward to supplier receipts or forward to every derived lot and the customers who received it. Mock recalls and actual recall events capture the affected lots, customers and shipments, and export as a PDF report. This supports the lot-level recordkeeping required by FSMA Section 204.

Purchasing, Sales and Integrations

Purchase orders capture vendor lot numbers at receiving, along with landed cost and purchase price variance. Sales orders support lot allocation, picking and shipping. Zelviq offers two-way sync with QuickBooks Online and integrations with Shopify, WooCommerce, Metrc and LeafLink. Each customer's data is stored in an isolated database, with role-based access and an audit trail.

Pricing

Plans start at $189 per month (Starter), with Professional at $399 and Enterprise at $999. Annual billing lowers each price by about 20%. Every plan includes a 30-day free trial with no credit card required.
