Zenchef

Zenchef (formerly Formitable) is an online reservation system for restaurants. It also includes a restaurant payment system to track payments, secure revenue with deposits, prepayments and credit card guarantee, and boost reservations with gift cards.

Zenchef gives guests flexible and secure ways to pay before, during, or after their meal, whether it’s a prepaid tasting menu, a credit card guarantee, a refundable deposit, or a digital gift card. Users can collect pre-payments on guest bookings and tailor a refund policy ti reduce no-shows and improve inventory and cost predictions. Restaurants can also offer online gift cards for a fixed value or specific experience (e.g. tasting menu), which is ideal for holidays, birthdays, or corporate gifts and a way to bring new guests in.

Zenchef also offers what they describe as a CRM for restaurants. This feature helps to build stronger, lasting guest relationships and supports marketing with engagement features to acquire new guests and bring back regulars.
