Smooth Product for Transactional Emails
Use Cases and Deployment Scope
We’ve been using Zeptomail for transactional emails, and it has worked really well for us.It is very much a developer-first product. The APIs are clean, integration is straightforward, and the documentation is clear and practical. From a development standpoint, implementation was smooth and efficient. We reached out to their support in the initial days where we got really good support. Featurewise, has plenty of features and its HIPAA complaint. Auto suppression feature, multiple accounts, access control, etc helps to manage it well. Today, all our transactional emails go through Zeptomail, and no issues at all.
Pros
- access control to monitor email delivery
- APIs, developer friendly
- auto suppression feature to avoid unnecessary usage of email tokens
Cons
- Dashboards can be better than how they are now.
- Code snippets are shown even after years of integration is success and working fine. This can be avoided. Being stable product, none of the dev team logs in now.
- There is scope to make templates better than how they are now.
- some features like auto-suppression can be shifted to agent/sub-account level. Presently they apply for all emails from all accounts.
Return on Investment
- No issues of email delivery after shifting to Zeptomail
- we followed all configurations and our emails dont go as spam anymore. A bug plus for us.
- Surprisingly not so expensive
