Overall Satisfaction with Adaptive Defense 360 / WatchGuard EPDR

We are an IT consultant [for] many companies and we suggest only and always Adaptive Defense 360 for a great protection from the [start]. [We have] never had an infection on our customer's end when they use Adaptive Defense 360. The reverse paradigm used vs the standard antivirus is a good choice because Adaptive Defense 360 register[s] the good software instead of the malware, so everything does not know it's locked until an admin evaluates and approves it.

  • Locks all the unknown software
  • Good reporting tools
  • Great dashboard
  • Great control over all the devices in the company network

Cons

  • The price
  • The granularity permission for different user type[s]
  • A good mode for very experienced users on the endpoint
  • Need a specialized internal IT tech or a specialized external IT tech of a supplier company.

It's not so simple for someone that hasn't followed the product course.
The centralized console is a must have. We (as a partner) have all our customers in a single panel.
It's good for all scenario types. We have some companies with single licenses that we (as IT consultants) monitor and we have a company with thousands of user[s] administered by internal IT. It's only not good for very experienced users like IT specialists that need to examine virus/hacking tools/etc. because no facility to disable or set whitelist path or similar.
