Overall Satisfaction with Adaptive Defense 360 / WatchGuard EPDR

We currently use Adaptive Defense 360 [/ WatchGuard EPDR] across our organization. Part of the reason for using this software is to assist with consistent and reliable device management and detection across a distributed workforce. As we have shifted operations from in-office work to predominantly remote, [Adaptive Defense 360 / WatchGuard EPDR] has allowed us to better prevent attacks and monitor processes within our workforce. Most importantly, because it will work on all of our devices no matter the physical location, it provides peace of mind that we know that our machines, systems, and data will be protected.
  • Automated detection of threats in real-time provides peace of mind.
  • Automated remediation - our IT admin team can quickly remove identified malware and understand the source and potential risks.
  • Constantly updated database of threats and responses. We can rest assured that [Adaptive Defense 360 / WatchGuard EPDR] is keeping us current against any threats while adapting to new ones as they arise.
  • As with any application of this nature, it can block processes or other suspected security risks that are actually safe.
  • While easy to use, it sometimes provides less learning opportunities for less experienced staff who are not as well-versed in these applications.
  • Improved endpoint performance and security.
  • Improved ability to detect, identify, and remediate threats down to the individual user(s).
  • Minor increase in cost compared to our previous endpoint protection with a stronger, more robust application to protect our data and systems.
We had previously used Symantec Endpoint Security and found that it was less user-friendly compared to Adaptive Defense 360 [/ WatchGuard EPDR]. More importantly, [it] has provided faster updates and appears to be more effectively prepared for new threats. Combined, this saves our IT Admin considerable time in ensuring that threats will be managed, along with the ability to trace threats and recommend remedial action for staff to minimize potential threats in the future. The cost of [Adaptive Defense 360 / WatchGuard EPDR] was slightly more, but we felt that the user experience alone was worth the increased cost.

Put simply, Adaptive Defense [360 / WatchGuard EPDR] not only just works, but you can rely on it to handle anything that can seemingly be thrown at it. For a comparable cost to other options available in the marketplace, you can have a software that will effectively allow the mitigation of both current and potential future threats and provide the peace of mind you need--especially with a distributed workforce. Users can easily work with the application and understand what is in front of them and how to deal with it (both immediately and as mitigation).
With the shift to predominantly remote work, we needed a solution that could allow us to manage our endpoint security remotely (especially when it came to updates and monitoring) and Adaptive Defense 360 [/ WatchGuard EPDR] helped with that. We can easily see what each user is accessing and the potential impact it is having on systems and security. Moreover, its multiple automated features means that our IT Admin is spending less time on security issues and risks that can easily be dealt with via [Adaptive Defense 360 / WatchGuard EPDR] on its own. As a result, we feel more confident in our security and prepared for threats even with our workforce working remotely.
I would suggest that Adaptive Defense 360 [/ WatchGuard EPDR] is appropriate in any organization where you value the importance of protecting your systems and the data contained therein. In most instances, all organizations could benefit from using a software that is simple, up-to-date, and (pardon the pun) adaptive, requiring much less management and busywork from the professionals managing IT Admin for your company.

In some instances, a small company of less than 10 people may find this excessive, or those that use a minimal amount of technology, but the application and its modules are largely cost effective and comparable with other less impressive options out there.
