Overall Satisfaction with Adaptive Defense 360 / WatchGuard EPDR
We currently use Adaptive Defense 360 [/ WatchGuard EPDR] across our organization. Part of the reason for using this software is to assist with consistent and reliable device management and detection across a distributed workforce. As we have shifted operations from in-office work to predominantly remote, [Adaptive Defense 360 / WatchGuard EPDR] has allowed us to better prevent attacks and monitor processes within our workforce. Most importantly, because it will work on all of our devices no matter the physical location, it provides peace of mind that we know that our machines, systems, and data will be protected.
- Automated detection of threats in real-time provides peace of mind.
- Automated remediation - our IT admin team can quickly remove identified malware and understand the source and potential risks.
- Constantly updated database of threats and responses. We can rest assured that [Adaptive Defense 360 / WatchGuard EPDR] is keeping us current against any threats while adapting to new ones as they arise.
- As with any application of this nature, it can block processes or other suspected security risks that are actually safe.
- While easy to use, it sometimes provides less learning opportunities for less experienced staff who are not as well-versed in these applications.
- Improved endpoint performance and security.
- Improved ability to detect, identify, and remediate threats down to the individual user(s).
- Minor increase in cost compared to our previous endpoint protection with a stronger, more robust application to protect our data and systems.
We had previously used Symantec Endpoint Security and found that it was less user-friendly compared to Adaptive Defense 360 [/ WatchGuard EPDR]. More importantly, [it] has provided faster updates and appears to be more effectively prepared for new threats. Combined, this saves our IT Admin considerable time in ensuring that threats will be managed, along with the ability to trace threats and recommend remedial action for staff to minimize potential threats in the future. The cost of [Adaptive Defense 360 / WatchGuard EPDR] was slightly more, but we felt that the user experience alone was worth the increased cost.

We can easily see what each user is accessing and the potential impact it is having on systems and security.
