Overall Satisfaction with Adobe After Effects
After Effects 22.3 is not compatible with the Apple M1 chip. If you are purchasing a computer to use with the Adobe suite, do not buy a Mac with an M1 chip. Premiere Pro also keeps crashing and does not import the previous projects as a workaround. When it does work, it works well, however, if you are using After Effects to edit green screen projects using Premiere Pro and After Effects then the Apple M1 mac is not currently compatible. I wish I had known this when we made the decision to purchase M1 macs. Adobe is aware of the problem and working to correct it, however, there is no time frame for when this issue will be resolved.

- The dynamic link is buggy and when using Premiere Pro you often have to re-link the After Effects file

- The bugs when using After Effects on the Apple M1 mac have resulted in over 2 weeks in total of lost capacity. The issue was escalated to Adobe who is aware of the issue
