Overall Satisfaction with Adobe Firefly

We’ve used Adobe Firefly early on to create fun text banners for flyers. Now we primarily use it to create innocuous images for graphics. Smaller images that won’t impact a design’s authenticity. Often we create background patterns, support textures, and insignificant landscape imagery. We avoid genAI images with humans. It doesn’t sit well with our audience.

Pros

  • Background images
  • Background patterns
  • Generic landscapes

Cons

  • People
  • Accurate representations of anything seen by the human eye
  • Animals
  • It hasn’t impacted is.
  • We make funny images for fun sometimes.
  • We appreciate a good stock photography resource more now.
It is the same as all the others. Nothing about it is significantly better or worse. They all fall short of perfection and that’s a good thing. The opportunity for improvement is high so I hope Adobe doesn’t screw it up. And I hope they don’t over charge for it like they do all the other software.
It is average compared to other genAI resources. Its interface is somewhat meh, but its access to resources is reliable. We don’t use Adobe firefly exclusively. We use it along side many other ai resources. Our self propelled system running stable diffusion is probably the standard these days. Hopefully Adobe can step up its game and not charge too much for it.

Do you think Adobe Firefly delivers good value for the price?

No

Are you happy with Adobe Firefly's feature set?

Yes

Did Adobe Firefly live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Adobe Firefly go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Adobe Firefly again?

Yes

Innocuous images for graphics. Smaller images that won’t impact a design’s authenticity. Background patterns, support textures, and insignificant landscape imagery. If you need a generic image and can’t find the right thing on a stock site then creating it in Adobe Firefly is much cheaper and easier then capturing it yourself.
