Overall Satisfaction with Adobe Firefly

Trying to generate images for concepting, editing images.

Pros

  • Using strength sliders
  • Using source images
  • And now, changing the AI engine

Cons

  • More toggles and control in the menu
  • More chat like editing to images
  • Giving another option for Gen AI in the sea of them
For being a “simple” UI, there’s limited control. It can be frustrating to try to get what you want with limited controls
It has a strong UI/UX but I don’t love the results. Way better than using chat but I think Nano Banana has better results

Do you think Adobe Firefly delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with Adobe Firefly's feature set?

No

Did Adobe Firefly live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Adobe Firefly go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Adobe Firefly again?

Yes

More so when trying to get source material that isn’t easily available

Using Adobe Firefly

12 - Design, Marketing, Communication, Social Media
4 - I would say our designers and art director are the ones serving as support.
  • Photo editing (usually within Photoshop)
  • Image Generation (for concepting)
  • Image Generation (for actual assets)
  • Build illustrations that can get exported into Illustrator for Live Tracing
  • For quick, last minute images to use in a presentation
  • Creating "test shots" that we would use for videos
"Renew" is a funny word for us since we just include it in our Org's CC account. We find it incredibly helpful within Photoshop but as a standalone product, we haven't had great results and if it wasn't part of our account, I'm unsure how much we would use it compared to other generative AI's.
