Overall Satisfaction with AlienVault USM

We use AlienVault across our organization for log analysis and reporting. We also use it for Intrusion Detection and Prevention and vulnerability assessments.
  • AlienVault provides extensive reporting modules
  • AlienVault does a good job of collecting information from multiple sources
  • AlienVault OTX provides a shared community for threat analysis
  • AlienVault USM is pricey
  • AlienVault USM is challenging to set up
AlienVault is well suited to an organization that requires detailed information for reporting purposes. It is challenging to set up and if not set up correctly, can provide many false positives.
