Overall Satisfaction with Anaplan

Anaplan is used primarily as an FP&A tool. We use it to plan and analyze financial performance across our business lines, budget for operating expenses, and roll this into a consolidated corporate view for executive reporting. We also use it for demand based headcount needs and variable compensation planning.

Pros

  • An extremely flexible tool that allows pivot-able and drill down analysis in seconds.
  • Collaborative - all users see changes in real time. Multiple users can work on the same model at the same time.
It is so flexible it is well suited to any planning, budgeting, forecasting, or reporting function. It is not built for statistical analysis.
