Overall Satisfaction with Apify

We use Apify to scrape TikTok videos to grab their metadata and store them on a simple to navigate website. Our users can enter a tiktok link and via Apify client, all the data from the video link they entered is returned back to them, they can choose to download the data they got from our website form that utilizes the Apify client for the actor.

Pros

  • Easy to use
  • Wide selection of actors
  • Decent prices

Cons

  • they should add a cheaper tier
  • a recently deleted actor run section
  • ability to use APIs when not subscribed to a tier
  • helped us grow to thousands of users
  • allowed us to focus on other aspects of our business since actors are prebuilt and easy to plugin
  • made updating the core functionality really easy so we can save time
I gave a rating of 10 because its very easy to use. Has a great UI that is straightforward and the actor I use is actually useful and fit my needs exactly to what I wanted my business to accomplish. I would recommend to friends and others because it has helped me in more ways than one.

suitable for people trying to scrape any account, video and get detailed info about a user/account really whatever as long as its online. Their proxies make it really reliable to scrape a lot of things. Less appropriate when a lot of the info getting returned from the scraper is already publicly available or easy to implement into your workflow or site.
