Overall Satisfaction with IBM Apptio
Transparency, cost optimisation, planning/forecasting, insights. All Tech financials are sourced and reported via ApptioOne. Posting recharges to GL as calculated in ApptioOne.
Pros
- Simple to use
- Simple to build
Cons
- Ability to work better with large datasets and number of users and number of pickers in a report - currently quite slow to load reports
- Environment updates at custom timeslots - currently happen on Friday night in Australia, which is Thurs afternoon in the US, so affects users in that location
- Pricing model
- Cost savings
- Digitising processes
- Consistent reporting
- Better transparency
A lot of our data is manually loaded. We are looking at automating these where possible. 'What-if' scenarios would be great, e.g., a slider on some metrics to be able to show other outcomes.
- None
We have four ApptioOne environments due to our data volumes and number of users. It would be great if it was possible to have everything in one environment without impacting performance.
